O.K. guys, Valentine's Day is right around the corner. You are either loving this idea or wishing you could jump ahead to February 15th right now! Do not fear. This is an opportunity for you to SHINE! With a few helpful hints, I can help you dazzle her this year!
Helpful "Don't" tips
1. Don't get her the same thing you got her last year. New and fresh ideas show your thoughtfulness and your desire to do more than fulfill and obligation.
2. Don't give her "useful" kitchen or "home" items. Nothing says I love you you like a new iron or vacuum! Not!
3. Don't fall victim to "it has to be red and in a heart shaped package"! Let's choose the gift first and then worry about the packaging.
4. Don't get her want you want! This is not happy Valentine's Day to me, so what you may want will likely not win you any points!
Helpful "Do" tips
1. Do consider chocolate or food gifts, spa gifts or gift certificates, flowers, or jewelry. All of these items are a perfect way to show that special someone how much you care. Be mindful of what your special someone likes, dark vs. milk chocolate etc. These gifts are also available to meet most budgets and come in a wide variety of packaged options.
2. If your special someone likes pink, yellow or any color, then have it wrapped or packaged to please her. Your thoughtful gift does not have to be red!
3. Do add to this day and make it romantic. If cooking is your forte, cook a special romantic meal for two. If going out is more your style, plan a special evening out to a new or favorite restaurant. Plan some special time together!
Valentine's Day should not be measured in the dollars spent, but in the romantic and thoughtful time shared together. Here's to your Valentine's Day success! For some gift ideas visit us online http://www.thedazzlingdot.com/valentinesday284.html

Easy Corporate Gift Guidelines for Clients, Employees, and Vendors
Food gifts are the perfect way to show loyalty, gratitude, and appreciation. In a competitive corporate climate that also helps to build or reinforce business relations.
Giving a corporate gift to an employee serves as an incentive, shows the employer’s trust and is the perfect way to say thank you. Food gifts are ideal for these cases.
It is not a surprise that we often give a gift that we would enjoy ourselves. There are many low budget, low quality gift items available. Quality should always be of paramount concern. Giving a gift with common food items found in grocery or department stores devalues your gift, makes it less special and ensures it is less likely to stand out. Does the company create and package their own food gifts, or are they mass produced and drop-shipped from a warehouse? Those that make gifts to order and do so on-site, are better able to ensure the quality of the products they offer you.
The presentation of the gift you give has the opportunity to give that wow factor!
The attention to detail within each gift adds to the presentation. Are the products tossed in boxes or are they nestled in fill covered by hand folded tissue to add to the gift opening experience?
The convenience and gift customization options help you! Ensure the company you choose will work with you to provide spreadsheets for easy entry for each gift recipient. Choose a company that will make changes to the gift to make it perfect for you. Consider adding business cards, promotional items or other accents to promote your business.
Affordability…Don’t settle for less…the goal is not to give just any gift for the sake of giving it. And here, bigger is not always better. Gift-giving is an opportunity for you to make a statement, set yourself apart, and make a lasting impression. The company you choose should be able help you select a gift that not only meets your needs but also fits within your budget.
With so many choices, how do you pick the perfect gift?
1. Know your gifting limits for your industry and for the recipient. Some organizations do not accept gifts beyond certain specified amounts so as to not be construed as a bribe.
2. Remember, Quality, Presentation, Attention to Detail, Convenience, & Affordability
3. Know your recipient. How many people will receive this gift? Just one or many? If you are sending to an office, you want to ensure there are enough items for everyone to get something. A brownie box with 4 brownies will not satisfy an office of 20 people!
4. Is this gift going to a home or office? Sending pancake or bread mix to an office may not be the best idea. Likewise, including beverage items for a larger office with a beverage service may not be best.
5. Do you know the recipient personally or professionally? Spa items should be reserved for a more personal gift.
6. Do you have any special requests? Do you want to add some of your own company’s items? Don’t be afraid to ask!
7. How easy is the ordering process? Ask to work with a gift consultant to streamline the process for you. They are there to help you!
8. How do they ship? Track orders? Make sure they work with a reputable gift carrier. Will they provide gift tracking data to you if you wish or track it for you?
